The Strangest Dream

I sometimes have strange dreams, but last night I had one to beat them all.

Ali had won a day flying planes at an airfield, so our blog-family had gone along to watch.

First off, Ali wanted to fly a Tiger Moth biplane. Zig said he was a trained pilot and got in with her. Off they went, looping loops and swooping low over the rest of us. Then it was time to land. Ali was at the controls and brought it down so hard the wheels ripped off and they skidded to a halt on the plane's belly.

We rushed over to the plane - Zig climbed out looking a bit shaky, while Ali tumbled out squealing with laughter and shouting that she wanted to fly a jet now. Zig opted out, deciding to sit with Alyssa who was in danger of having her baby on the spot...

So, Ali climbs into a jet - one of those small passenger jets that movie stars fly around in and takes off before the rest of us can stop her. More crazy zooming around, while Logzie and Terri try to stop Chris having a breakdown.

Suddenly there is a small explosion in the plane and a small dot can be seen shooting upwards - it is Ali. Then the rest of the plane explodes in a massive fire ball, the blast shooting Ali even higher. Surely she cannot survive that! The dot that is Ali starts to descend, gathering speed. Then the parachute opens and she drifts to the ground screaming with laughter. Her landing is not very elegant, coming down hard on her behind, which causes another explosion of laughter, while the rest of us collapse into gibbering heaps.

The dream ended with Ali wondering which plane to try out next, only to have Terri, Chris and Logzie pile on top of her, pinning her to the ground.

Now, if anyone can tell me if that has any special meaning...

Oh man! That dream was awesome! And here I am, just woke up, bleary eyes, and screaming with laughter.
I must be completely transparent for you to have a dream as crystal clear as that...perhaps that's a good thing - take me or leave me. :)
You made my day John, thank you!

Glad you liked it. It just kept running over and over as I cycled in this morning and just had to post it.

that was freaking hilarious!!! and you know, I fear that it may actually turn out exactly like that - were we given the opportunity to fly a bunch of planes!! - The only inaccuracy in your dream is that I wouldn't have gotten into the first plane with her. I would have stayed safely on the ground - (or tried a plane out on my own) - but oh man, so freaking funny!

Zig - glad you found it believable. I must admit that I was impressed with your bravery, but then you were a qualified pilot so it seemed natural. I don't suppose you ARE a pilot... That would be really spooky!

I am so glad to hear that I was actually "helping" and not just panicing...as I probably would have had this been a real situation! HA!!!

Too funny!!

Logzie - you and Terri were the most sensible ones in my dream! Without you two Ali might have taken off a 3rd time, not to mention the state poor Chris would have been in!

Hey...glad I could help! :0)

I was one of the sensible ones??? Wow. Now you probably didn't know this about me, but I can interpret dreams. And this dream means that it's time for a blogger convention! What do you say? (I'm lying about interpreting dreams, but not about the fact that we need a convention!)

Your dream means she's a psycho.
She lives for speed, although I constantly nag at her to slow down.

Terri - a convention would be fun, but I can't see me being able to get to one in the nearish future.

Chris - Isn't "psycho" a bit harsh? Fun-loving perhaps? Hell, what do I know, you're the one that married her :-)

Ali said...

Thank you John, I told him the same thing!
"Psycho" sounds more like a homicidal maniac, not someone who gets a rush from something like getting the run of an entire airfield ;)
And he must have decided somewhere along the line that he liked me...

Rock Chef said...

Unless, of course, you are such a psycho he was too scared to call it off ;-)

Ali said...

Psycho or not, he's mine now! Mwahahahahaaaaaaa!

It would be a brave woman that tried to steal him from you!
